A Full Care Facility
A Real Home For Your Horse
The Longbranch Stable, built in 1994, is well recognized as a first class quality and well
maintained horse boarding facility. The stable is conveniently located in Parrish,
Manatee County, Florida.
The 20 stall horse boarding facility is situated on a 23 acre ranch with
24 hour supervision provided by the owner and trained staff.
Ed McAdam, well known locally as Mr. Ed, owns and
operates the stable.
Longbranch Stable also offers temporary boarding for horse rehabilitation.
There are 14 paddocks for daily turnout, a
round pen and a
lighted arena. Each paddock
has public potable water and a watering trough. A separate pasture irrigation
system is also in place. The arena is set up for dressage, western trail course
and jumping.
A one mile trail through beautiful woods, a lush green
pasture and a meandering stream is available for your use.
Stable Special Features
- Individual 12' x 12' stalls with wood shavings over shell marl. Shell marl
provides a firm foundation with excellent percolation.
- Every stall is equipped with an automatic waterer, feed bowl, hay rack and fan.
- Each stall has a sliding door access to the interior aisle way and a dutch door
to the exterior.
- The 14 foot concrete center aisle way includes rubber floor matting and numerous cross
ties.
- Two concrete cross aisle ways offer addional access.
- Excellent cross ventilation and roof ventilation.
- An automatic pesticide control system throughout the aisle way and stall area
substantially reduces flies and bugs, providing an added level of comfort for both
horses and boarders.
- Seven wash racks.
- Separate clean and secure feed storage room.

- Two separate tack rooms complete with two saddle racks for each boarder.
- Two bathrooms.
- Shower.
- Washer, dryer and utility sink.
- Microwave and refridgerator.
- Stable telephone for local calls.
- Horse trailer parking.
Stable Other Services
A variety of other horse-related services are available upon request including
training of horse and rider by an experienced trainer, lunging, washing,
grooming, tack cleaning, hauling, worming, supplements, etc.
Horse Rehabilitation Service
If your horse has had an injury and requires 24 hour care, Longbranch
Stable is here for you. Four stalls are normally set aside for temporary
injury-related recuperation and rehabilitation services. Staff is available for
24 hour treatment and careful observation during recuperation, under the
